Chapter 7 "Spiral"

The cop walked up to Kari and started asking questions about the fire.

"I dont know anything, officer." Kari answered. "But I bet it was the same person who killed Hollie, are you even looking into her death?" Kari and her friends were trying to catch the killer, but they also wanted the police to look into it, too, in case it didnt work out for them.

"Yes, but, we dont have any leads yet." The cop said.

Kari and her friends changed out of their burnt wedding clothes from the fire, and got rid of the sign before the police came.

"Okay, I think we asked enough questions." The cop said. She got into her cop car and drove off.

Kari went into the house and sat down in the study. On top of the fireplace, she saw an envelope. She opened it and read it, then brought it to her friends to read.

Expect a call at midnight tonight.

"So you think the killer is going to call?" Jenna said.

"Thats what it looks like" Kari said.

"Well, should we stay up?" Mia asked.

"I think it would be a bad idea if we didnt take the call." Travis said. He was right. If we didnt do what the killer wanted, who knows what would happen?

"Okay, so lets wait." Kari said.

They waited in the study all night, and when midnight came, Kari got a call.

"Meet me at The Funhouse, tomorrow at 8 P.M."

Chapter 6 "Wedding Bells"

Jenna stood in her white wedding dress, looking at the mirror in her bedroom. Kari and Mia stood behind her, in their pink bridesmaid dresses dedicated to Hollie.

"Your beautiful." Kari said, putting a hand on Jenna's shoulder. "Adrian is a lucky guy."

"Im a lucky girl." Jenna said. She has tears of happiness in her eyes. "I love him, so much."

"I know, hes a wonderful person." Kari stands next to her.

"You loo beautiful, Jenna" Mia said. "I am going to go talk to Travis, I will come back before the wedding starts."

Mia walks out of the room, and Jenna turns to Kari. "So, have you talked to Travis yet?"

"No... I mean, he and Mia are so happy..." Kari said. Its been a week since Travis and Mia got together. "I dont want to ruin it."

"Its okay to be scared..." Jenna says. "Im scared. Its my wedding day, and Im scared it wont work out."

"It will, Jenna. Adrian loves you." Kari says. "Its just... What if Travis doesnt feel the same? Or cares about Mia more?"

"Kari..." Jenna says. "Its better to get your heart broken and know, than to not know, and stay the same."

"Yeah, I guess your right." Kari says.

Mia walks in the room "20 minutes, you guys."

"Okay," Kari sees Travis walk into the house from the back window. "Hey, I will be right back." Kari walks out of the room and downstairs

"Hey, Travis." Kari walks into the kitchen to see Travis in a pink suit. "Theres something I wanted to talk to you about."

"Yeah?" Travis looks up from his phone, smiling. Kari looks down to see who he is texting: Mia.

"Oh... Um..." Kari fumbles for something to say. "Um, your suit... It looks nice."

"Come on," Travis smiles. "I know you better than that. What do you really have to say?"

Kari's eyes start to water. "Thats it, really."

"Hey, Kari, whats wrong?" Travis looks sincerely concerned.

"Nothing..." Kari walks away, but Travis grabs her wrist and lightly pulls her back.

"No, somethings wrong, Kari!" Travis looks at her.

Kari leans in and quickly kisses Travis. "I love you, you idiot!" Kari then runs up the stairs into Jennas room.

Jenna was at the top of the stairs, with her soon to be husband and best friends at the bottom. They wanted a private wedding, but they had flower shaped lights in the pond, and a wedding arch. It was the perfect wedding.

Jenna walks down the stairs and up by the wedding arch. Adrian is waiting for her under it. Jenna and Adrian exchange their vows and Rings, and then do the final thing: Kiss.

As soon as they kissed, they heard an explosion. They ran to the fron yard, to see that it was set on fire, and there was a sign that said:

Watch your back.



Chapter 5 "Broken Love"

Mia walks into the study, with white furniture and a fireplace, and nicely decorated wooden walls. She sees Travis sitting in one of the white chairs, looking at the fireplace with a vacant look in his eyes. SHe walks up to him and sits in the chair.

"Hello, Travis." Mia says. Travis and her went to school together since elementary school, and they have been good friends, but havent talked since graduation.

Travis snapped out of his trance. "Oh... Hello, Mia. I was just thinking about Hollie. You all settled in?"

"Yep, just finished unpacking." Mia smiled "Thanks for welcoming me."

"My pleasure." Travis said. "Your about as much involved in this mess as the rest of us..."

Mia looks at Travis for a moment, and sees sadness in his eyes. He has always been good looking, and now he has a little stubble on his chin. His black hair with a subtle hint of blue the perfect blend of neat and messy. Mia starts to feel affection in her heart, something she used to feel for Travis during Freshman year. She had a giant crush on Travis throughout half of High School, and it went away when he broke her heart by dating a girl named Marisa Jones, after Mia made her feelings known. She hasnt felt this way about anyone since then.

"Hey, hey..." Mia said, gently touching Travis' face and soothing him "It will be alright, I promise"

Travis looks up at her, and leans in to kiss her.

She kisses back, and then breaks the kiss and smiles.

Kari is standing at the doorway of the study and sees Travis and Mia kiss. Kari realizes at that moment that the feeling she has had for Travis lately was more than friendship, she liked him a lot more than just friends. Travis looks up at the doorway and sees Kari, with tears falling down her cheeks. Kari runs away, sobbing.

"Kari?" Travis gets up and starts to run after Kari, who ran out the doorway and got into the white SUV and drove off. "Kari!!" He continues running, but in vain. He cant catch her now.

Kari starts to drive. She doesnt know to where, or why, but it helps her think. She thinks about Travis, and if he cares for her back. She was confused about when she started liking Travis as more than a friend. She shouldnt be upset, Travis has a right to date anyone he wants to. Kari gets to her destination, wherever that is, and sits down on the bench. She is at a beach, but it is very run-down and hardly visited. Kari gets tired, and falls asleep on the bench.

Kari wakes up at the beach in the middle of the night, with Jenna sitting on the chair near her.



"I was waiting for you to wake up." Jenna said.

"Jenna?" Kari says "How did you know where I was?"

"I put a tracker in the SUV." Jenna said. "Im not losing that thing, its exspensive."

"Why are you here?" Kari says

"To talk. How long have you liked Travis?"

"I dont know." Kari looked flustered. "I just... I felt wierd around him for a while, and when I saw him kissing Mia... It just made everything a little clearer."

Jenna sits next to Kari. "Its okay to be confused about your relationships. The whole first year Adrian and I were dating, I didnt know whether I really loved him or not. But when he broke up with me-for the first, and hopefully last-time, I realized that I loved him."

"Yeah," Kari looks at the ground. Jenna and Adrian have been dating since 8th grade, and in the middle of Freshman year, Adrian broke up with Jenna because she wasnt sure whether she loved him or not. It didnt last that long, they got back together a week later, but it did traumatize Jenna. "I know how I feel about him. But... I dont think he likes me."

"Well, you will never know if you ask." Jenna says. "Now, lets go home."

They walked to the SUV, and went home.

Chapter 4 "Black"

Kari stood outside the funeral home, dressed in all black, about to go into the funeral home and see the dead body of her twin sister Hollie. She was about to go in, but she didnt want to. She didnt want this to become more... real.

Jenna comes up to her, dressed in a black dress with the back and sides of the dress are cut out, and gives her a hug.

"Im so sorry, Kari." Jenna says. "I dont know how hard this is on you, being an only child, but I know it must hurt..."

"Yeah, thanks, Jenna." Kari smiles. "I just... Who would murder Hollie? She has no enemies, why would anyone hurt her?"

Jenna pulls out a letter, and hands it to Kari. "I found this in a book the day Hollie died. I was afraid to tell anyone. Maybe if I did, Hollie would be alive."

"Wait... You got a note too?" Kari says. "When I was talking to Hollie, there was something written in 'breath fog' on the window, that said Say your Goodbyes. I was too afraid to do anything, too..."

"Its not our fault, Kari." Jenna said, obviously contradicting herself. "It would have happened anyways."

Then, someone came up to Kari and tapped her on her shoulders.

"Hi." The black headed, fair skinned model said. "Im so sorry to hear about Hollie."

"Mia... Hi." Kari said. She was so suprised Mia came to the Funeral. She is one of Jenna's friends, and a model. Hollie has done a couple shoots for a company that encourages women to be the best they can be, and also supports breast cancer, which is why Hollie wears so much pink.

"Um, Theres also something I wanted to tell you. I overheard your and Jenna's conversation, and I just wanted to say, I got a note too."

Mia hands Kari a note, and what it says is shocking.

Say goodbye to your dear friend Hollie."You... You waited until NOW to show someone this!?" Kari was outraged. "You didnt go to the POLICE!?"

"I... I am so sorry. I didnt know what it meant until now." Mia looked about to cry. "I wish I had understood it sooner, I really do. I wish I could have taken it to the police in time. I... I am so sorry."

"It... Its okay..." Kari seemed to calm down a bit, but now was on the verge of tears. "The only thing that upset me was that it was so straightforward... We are all to blame, its okay."

"Theres another thing..." Mia said. "I got another note." Mia showed Kari the note.

"Since I live alone, I was wondering... Could I stay with you until this blows over?" Mia asked.

Jenna then replies to this "Yes, yes, Mia. I think thats a good idea. If this person is targeting all of us, then I think we should stay together. But... I also thing we should try and catch them. I dont know if the police would be much help with this."

"Yeah" Mia said. "I think we should. It might be dangerous, but we would probably catch them faster than the police."

"Yes, I agree. But we should probably get Travis and Adrian on board." Kari says. "They are in danger, too. They need to be a part of this."

"Then its settled. Mia is moving in, and were catching the killer." Jenna says. "We need to wait until they send more notes. Then, we need to be prepared. We will work out a plan later."

"But for now," Kari says. "lets go in"

And they all walked into the funeral home.

Chapter 3 "Trapdoor"

Adrian wakes up to a loud scream and a thump of a body hitting the floor. He gets up out of his bed and sees that Jenna is also awake and nearing the door.

"Jenna, wait!" He says.

"What? Why?" Jenna replies.

"Let me go first." he opens the door and slides through. He sees Hollie on the ground in a pool of blood, obviously dead. Kari comes out of her room, followed by Travis from his room.

"H-Hollie..!?" Kari screams. "Hollie! No! Hollie!"

"Shhh... Shhh..." Travis runs to her and hugs her. "It will be all right, It will be all right..."

"Call the police, Jenna" Adrian says. "I will go downstairs and see if I can find the intruder." Adrian takes a gun out of a hidden compartment in the wall, and goes downstairs. He goes into the Study/Living Area. On the couch, he finds the words, painted in blood:

I warned you.

Chapter 2 "Crashing"

Jenna grabs a book off the shelf, and sits down next to Travis, who is also starting to read. She goes to the middle of her book, where she left off, and starts to read. Travis' black-blue hair is down to his nose, and her blonde hair is down to her chest. As she gets into the book, she notices a lump behind a couple of pages. She turns the page, and sees a letter. She opens it.

Someones going to suffer a horrible fate tonight.

Jenna gets off the couch, hides the letter, and runs out of the room

Kari is also in the room, and she is talking to her twin sister, Hollie. You would never know Hollie is her sister, with her brown and pink hair and purple eyes and pale skin, contrasting her red hair, tan skin, asian eyes that are blue. She starts to tell her a story, and then she looks out the window. She sees words written in fog on the window, like you used to do as kids.

Say your goodbyes.

She got scared, and ran out of the room.

That night, everyone was fast asleep when they were woken up by a loud ruckus, screaming, and a body hitting the floor.

Chapter 1 "Beginning"

Kari walks up to the mansion, holding her luggage, looking up in awe. Her red hair in a ponytail, her sister next to her, she starts to go in.

"Kari, Hollie!" Jenna screams. Her blonde-haired, blue-eyed, fair-skinned model of a best friend runs over to greet her.

"Hi!" Kari said. She looks around, admiring the architecture.

She goes into the dining room, and sees two boys.

"Uhm, hey guys." Kari says. She looks at Adrian, Jenna's fiance, and Travis, his best friend. They are going to be living with them.

"Hey!" Travis smiles at her. She has known Travis since elementary school, and they have always been good friends. But lately, things have been wierd between them.

"Hi." Adrian says to her "You should go upstairs and pick your room. The Master Bedroom is mine and Jenna's, though.

"Okay." She said. She goes upstairs, and looks through the rooms. She started to think about how this happened. She thought about how Jenna became a rising star model, and how she got this house. She then invited her and her twin sister to live with her and Adrian, and how Adrian invited Travis. She gets to the corner room. It is dark red, and has a fire place and couch. A very nice room. "I will take this one" she yelled, and put her luggage down.

She looks around, glad she can have the chance to live here.
